3/11/2020- PART 1 – Good afternoon, after holding discussions and reviewing CDC Guidelines today, we have made the decision to postpone the scheduled 5th through 12th grade Band Concert for tomorrow, Thursday, March 12th. Please know this postponement was a difficult decision.
3/11/2020- PART 2– However, with the recently confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in nearby areas of South Dakota, we believe this is the right decision for the well being of our students and all individuals who would be attending this large event.Thank you!
PART 2 -Again, currently we have no information of any positive Coronavirus test. We will continue to follow guidance from the state and inform of any new information in the future. Please know that the safety of our students is always our top priority! Thank you!
Message PART 1 -Good evening, It has come to our attention of current misinformation on social media stating a Madison student has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The Madison Central School has not been contacted by any local or state health officials of such a situation.
Registration forms for students in grades 8-11 will be sent home Tuesday. Parents need to sign and return before Friday.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon! We will be open from March 9 through March 17 in the library. We are open during school hours and during conferences. See you there!

Good morning - With the predicted forecast of bitter cold and blowing snow, school will be dismissing at 11:30am for the elementary and 11:45am for MS/HS, Wednesday February 12th. There will be no afternoon early childhood.

Because of the deteriorating weather conditions in the Sisseton area, tonight's boys basketball game against Sisseton has been POSTPONED. The make up date for this event is Saturday, February 22nd with C-game starting at 3:00.
