4-14-20 Good afternoon, Starting tomorrow, April 15th we will distribute sack lunches on Monday, Wednesday & Friday only. However, we will distribute 2 sack lunches per kid per day. When picking up lunches continue to signal the # of kids and we will double the # of lunches.
4-8-2020 – Sack Lunch CHANGE for tomorrow. On Thursday, April 9th we will distribute 2 sack lunches to each student, 1 to be used for lunch on Thursday and 1 for Friday. There will be NO Sack Lunch Distribution on Friday, April 10th. Thank you!

4-6-2020 - Good afternoon, Governor Noem announced at her press conference today that SD schools are to stay closed for the remainder of the 19-20 school year. As a result, we will continue with our distance learning for the remainder of the school year, See letter below.
4-6-2020 - Good morning! Starting this week, on a few random days only, a limited number of hot meal entrées may be offered at the high school distribution site only. Regulations only allow us to offer this at the HS site. All sites will have the sack lunch option. Grab & Go!

3-22-2020 "FREE" Sack lunches TIME CHANGE! Sack lunches will continue to be distributed March 23rd-27th and will continue at the same locations. However, please note a MINOR TIME CHANGE: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The distribution time will now END at 12:30 pm each day. Thank you!

3-19-2020 Good morning, "FREE sack lunches for students" Please remind children when they are finished with their lunch to properly dispose of leftovers and trash. We have heard concerns of garbage being left around town from the lunches. Thank you for your help!

3-17-2020 UPDATE! Governor announced SCHOOLS will REMAIN CLOSED NEXT WEEK. March 23rd through 27th -NO SCHOOL. Additional information will be emailed to parents later today by building principals on education plans moving forward. "FREE" Sack Lunch Meals will continue next week.

3-13-2020 - Good afternoon, Governor Noem requested all South Dakota School Districts to be closed the week of March 16th - 20th for deep cleaning. In following this request, the MCSD will be closed next week and all school facilities are off-limits to students. Thank you!
