Students from Madison Elementary, Middle, and High School had the honor of presenting the Wilkens family with a check from the generous funds raised from various fundraisers across the district over the past couple of weeks. Having Grace there in person to accept the donation made the moment even more meaningful for everyone involved. We have a fantastic turnout for the Bulldog Volleyball Team’s “Dig Pink Night.” All proceeds from tonight’s fundraisers will go to support one of our own, Grace Wilkens, a valued member of the Bulldog team. I am truly proud to be part of such an incredible Bulldog family!!

Earlier today, we were informed of a situation being handled by the Madison Police Department in the southeast part of Madison that had the potential to impact some of our bus routes. The Madison Police Department informed the school that there was no threat to student or staff safety at school. All school buildings remained safe and fully operational. There was no impact to our daily schedule or to any activities within the buildings.
As we were preparing to notify families and staff, we received confirmation that the situation had been resolved.
We are grateful for the swift response from local authorities and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

The 7th- and 8th-grade football games scheduled for today against Lennox have been canceled due to weather and field conditions. There will also be no practice for them.
Today's cross-country meet at Canton is scheduled to start at 3:00, not 1:00, as stated on the calendar.
MHS will not be livestreaming the football game tonight vs. Tri-Valley. Go to AmazingMadison.com or Big Sioux Media to watch a livestream of the game.

🔹 Students must remain seated with their parents during the game.
🔹 No balls or sports equipment are permitted inside the stadium.
This includes footballs, soccer balls, or any other items that could be thrown or cause disruption.
🔹 Nothing should be thrown in the stands.
For the safety of all spectators, throwing objects of any kind is strictly prohibited.
🔹 No running or horseplay in the stands.
🔹 Playing or gathering under the bleachers is not allowed.
Students should stay in designated seating areas with their parents at all times.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and fun environment for everyone at the game. Let’s show our school pride with positive behavior and support for our team!

Middle School students got to be a part of a special "topping out" ceremony on the middle school addition this week. Wednesday, students had the opportunity to sign their name on the final beam that was put up on the new edition. On Thursday, the students were able to watch as that last beam was set in its final spot. It was a special ceremony - something that we will remember for a long time!
