The 7th Grade field trip to the Outdoor Campus that was scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) has been cancelled because of the wet conditions and forecasted rain.

The Madison High School Class of 1976 celebrated its 50th class reunion last weekend and spent some time touring the High School and Middle School. We enjoyed hearing their stories and memories from their years in school. The group was amazed by the many changes that have taken place since they graduated and was impressed with all that our schools have to offer today. It was a pleasure to welcome them back to Madison!

The Bon Homme Cross Country meet scheduled for today has been cancelled.

Wild West Day 🤠 at MES!

The Madison Middle School golfers had the opportunity to travel to Spring Creek Golf Course in Harrisburg to compete against SFC Middle School. For several of the boys, this was their first experience competing in a nine-hole match. The team represented Madison well, competing hard, gaining valuable experience, and enjoying a great day on the course. We are proud of their effort and sportsmanship! ⛳🐾

Madison Middle School students attended a bullying prevention assembly led by Mrs. Bundy and Mr. Ricke. Students received reminders about treating others with kindness and respect, both in person and online, to help make it a great year for everyone.

MES happenings - another great day to be a Bulldog. Homecoming 2026

Students at MMS recently met Kilo, a therapy and first responder dog, and his handler, Lori Stank. Kilo will be spending some afternoons at MMS, hanging out with students at the end of the school day and providing a friendly, calming presence. We are happy to welcome Kilo and Lori to our school!

These young ladies represented MHS at the EdRising Leadership Conference yesterday. EdRising is a national career and technical student organization (CTSO) that helps high school students explore and prepare for careers in education. Great job Bulldogs!

MES 4th Annual Egg Toss

Madison Middle School would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Prostrollo and the Madison Central Education Foundation for providing the funding for the Middle School to purchase planners for every student. We are thankful support the Foundation gives to the teachers and students of the Madison Central School District!

On Monday, MHS hosted its first Club Fair. It was a smashing success! The fair featured 17 different clubs MHS students can participate in. The Club Fair was the brainchild of Our Student Council President, Calista. Calista said, "Last year, my classmates and I noticed a lack of participation in our clubs among underclassmen. When I asked them why, many said they simply didn't know about all the options MHS offered. Because of this, I wanted to create a space that showcased these opportunities. I worked closely with Dr. Johnson, Mr. Baskerville, MHS club advisors, and other students to launch the club fair. Our goal was to let new students see everything Madison has to offer alongside their friends and classmates, making them feel welcome and excited to get involved." Thank you for helping get this idea off the ground Calista and for showing MHS students all the great things we have to offer.

This Thursday's Volleyball games at Flandreau will start 30 minutes later than originally scheduled, with the C match starting at 5:00 pm.
