MMS provided quilts to many students before winter break. These are some example of the quilts. The quilts were handmade by the Trinity Peace Makers from Trinity Lutheran in Madison. Thank you!

Mrs. Waba, Mrs. Kratovil, Mrs. Flemming, and Mrs. Gerry were all selected by the South Dakota Pork Council for a $50 pork bundle for being wonderful teachers. Congrats and happy eating!
The Madison Middle School students led by our Student Council members presented a check to the Jeff Nelson of the Lake County Food Pantry. The raised nearly $300. Pictured here is Student Council President Ava duRandt and Vice President Ranick Fjerstad.

Chasney and her friend pickle joined me on the bus ride home tonight. She made pickle in MakerSpace.
Seth K out working cows today. I love our community because of it close tie to land, farmers, and ranchers. We want kids in school each day, some days learning can best be done in the real world.
