Because of Covid-19 concerns, the Madison vs. Chamberlain volleyball game that was scheduled to be played in Chamberlain tonight HAS BEEN CANCELLED. This match will not be made up as postseason play starts next week.

We are pleased to announce verification of the USDA program for FREE student meals is now EXTENDED through the end of the school year. (Extra entrees etc may still be purchased by students and will continue to be charged to their accounts)

Because of poor field conditions and cold temperatures, the 7th and 8th grade football games that were scheduled for today against Lennox HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. These games will not be made up.
Please note the volleyball changes for this week:
- Tonight's match against Wagner is a VARSITY ONLY MATCH starting at 6:00
- Tomorrow night's match against Dell Rapids HAS BEEN CANCELLED because of Covid-19 concerns in Dell Rapids
The Madison Central School District is pleased to announce that we have been approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide free breakfast and lunch meals to all our students under the Seamless Summer program. Our approval runs from October 1st until December 31. We will begin the process of crediting back any meals that have been purchased since October 1st. If your student wishes to purchase extra entrees, milk, or other food items, it will be charged to their account. The regular cost of meals will resume in January. Thank you

Due to Covid-19 related issues at Milbank, Friday night's football game against Milbank has been cancelled. Madison will instead be playing Miller/Highmore-Harrold in Madison on Friday for their homecoming game - 7:00 pm kickoff. See attendance restrictions in the attachment.
Due to members of the Parker volleyball team being quarantined as close contacts, there will be no JV volleyball match tomorrow night in Parker. The C-team match will start at 6:00 with Varsity to follow. Please adjust your plans accordingly!
9/25/2020 - Good morning, UPDATE on the Air Purification System project for MCSD. The installation of the system has now been completed in all MCSD facilities. Have a great day!
Just a reminder that tomorrow Wednesday, Sept 23rd there is no school for students. Parent/Teacher conferences will be held via Zoom from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
Because of the Chamberlain School District going to distance learning, the volleyball match between Madison and Chamberlain scheduled for Tuesday (9/22) has been CANCELLED. We will attempt to reschedule.

The football game for tonight has been delayed to a start time of 8:00 PM due to the minor bus accident. There were no injuries and everyone is on their way! Go Bulldogs!

Tonight's MHS Volleyball match @ Flandreau will have limited attendance. Each VB participant received 4 tickets to distribute. Only adults with a ‘ticket’ will be allowed to enter the school - ticket holders still need to pay admission.
- All HIGH SCHOOL students can attend without a ticket as long as they have a valid student ID.
- Masks are REQUIRED at all times. No one will be admitted without a mask.

Just a reminder that today (Aug 4th) and tomorrow (Aug 5th) you can drop of registration packets at the High School located at 800 NE 9th Street between the times of 7:30 am to 7:00 pm both days. Drop off boxes are at the curb to the entrance of the high school.
