Because of poor field conditions and cold temperatures, the 7th and 8th grade football games that were scheduled for today against Lennox HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. These games will not be made up.

- Tomorrow night's match against Dell Rapids HAS BEEN CANCELLED because of Covid-19 concerns in Dell Rapids
The Madison Central School District is pleased to announce that we have been approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide free breakfast and lunch meals to all our students under the Seamless Summer program. Our approval runs from October 1st until December 31. We will begin the process of crediting back any meals that have been purchased since October 1st. If your student wishes to purchase extra entrees, milk, or other food items, it will be charged to their account. The regular cost of meals will resume in January. Thank you

Due to Covid-19 related issues at Milbank, Friday night's football game against Milbank has been cancelled. Madison will instead be playing Miller/Highmore-Harrold in Madison on Friday for their homecoming game - 7:00 pm kickoff. See attendance restrictions in the attachment.
Due to members of the Parker volleyball team being quarantined as close contacts, there will be no JV volleyball match tomorrow night in Parker. The C-team match will start at 6:00 with Varsity to follow. Please adjust your plans accordingly!

Because of the Chamberlain School District going to distance learning, the volleyball match between Madison and Chamberlain scheduled for Tuesday (9/22) has been CANCELLED. We will attempt to reschedule.

Tonight's MHS Volleyball match @ Flandreau will have limited attendance. Each VB participant received 4 tickets to distribute. Only adults with a ‘ticket’ will be allowed to enter the school - ticket holders still need to pay admission.
- All HIGH SCHOOL students can attend without a ticket as long as they have a valid student ID.
- Masks are REQUIRED at all times. No one will be admitted without a mask.

Just a reminder that today (Aug 4th) and tomorrow (Aug 5th) you can drop of registration packets at the High School located at 800 NE 9th Street between the times of 7:30 am to 7:00 pm both days. Drop off boxes are at the curb to the entrance of the high school.

Registration packets have all been mailed out as of today. Please fill out all forms that are applicable to your student/s. Days for completed packets to be returned are Aug 4th and/or Aug 5th at the High School. More informtion on this is included in your packet.
District Wide Student Registration for August 4th & 5th has been canceled. Packets with forms and instructions will be mailed out later the week of July 27, 2020.
7-6-2020 Lunch distribution for the High School location will take place on the North side of the high school for the rest of the summer! If something needs to change, we will send out a notificiation! Thank you!
