Madison born and raised Shelby Jay Mennis is someone you need to know. Her family consists of her mom, Carrie; dad, Jay; her two brothers, Colby and Bailey; and her dogs - Berkley and Remi. She dreams of traveling worldwide, which is one of many things on her bucket list. It also includes skydiving, learning to surf, swimming with sharks, and more.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dogs, spending time at the lake, or with friends and family. Switzerland is where you would most likely find Shelby if given a chance to live anywhere for a year. If she were to win five million dollars, she would start a business, travel with her family, build her parents’ dream home, check off items on her bucket list, and save some of it for her future. A perfect day in Shelby’s eyes would be around the holidays, waking up to a sunrise with snow everywhere. Then, she would want to go sledding with her brothers, and later, drink hot chocolate while wrapping gifts and listening to Christmas music. In the evening, she would play with her dogs, eat spaghetti, and watch Christmas movies with her family. These types of days “never get old” for her. She recommends “enjoying the time you spend with your loved ones” and “getting outside to enjoy nature and life”.
After high school, Shelby plans to attend college for international business. Ten years from now, she will likely still be traveling, making memories with her family, and starting her own family with her husband, kids, and dogs.
