Trent Olson

17-year-old Trent James Olson, also known as T-rent, was born and raised in Madison, SD, and comes from a family of four. His family consists of his mom, Laura; dad, Jim; and brother, Brock. He also has three dogs: Henry, Bodhe, and Kirby.

If given the opportunity to live anywhere for a year, Trent would choose Australia for the chance to learn about the overall environment and different cultures. His bucket list consists of traveling around the United States, visiting every major city, and participating in a variety of local bowling tournaments. To add to his bucket list, he also wants to someday attend a Formula 1 race, and the biggest races on the World of Outlaws Tour. As an influencer, his content would include speaking for troubling athletes, he recommends, “always believing in yourself no matter what life brings you.” He wants to tell high school and college athletes that “nothing is ever given in life; it is always earned. Through the early mornings and late nights, it’s always up to you, and the hard work will pay off when you believe in yourself. It is your attitude and character that defines who you are and what you can become.”

Trent has obtained a job at a bowling alley which he enjoys and says it “never feels like work.” A perfect day in Trent’s mind is working out in the morning, going to work, and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys many things including bowling, racing, football, and fixing cars. Trent is a person who enjoys all the little and big things in life. He values time with family because they are always there no matter what and he could never live without them.

If given five million dollars he would buy land, build a house, open a car shop and start his own sprint car team. After graduation, Trent would like to play college football for 4 years as he studies business management.  Ten years from now, he sees himself married with a dog, kids, land, and a big house with a car shop, along with working towards his ultimate goal of "living life like there’s no tomorrow."
