Riley O'Connell is a senior in Madison, South Dakota. She lives with her mom and dad, and has two older sisters, Courtney and Kelsie. Riley’s favorite color is purple and she loves Harry Styles. Riley spends her time outside of school working at Bethel Lutheran Home and when asked about the most rewarding part of her job, she replied, “It is very rewarding to be able to help people.”
One thing Riley cannot live without is her dog, Bailey. If Riley could go back in time she would go to the 80s “for the aesthetic”. Her love for the 80s also explains her love for her favorite show set in the 80s, Stranger Things, which she has been watching since its first release date. If Riley could have any superpower, she would choose teleportation. She would teleport to New York if she could because if she could live anywhere in the world for a year, she would choose New York for “the big city and many opportunities and activities.”
One thing that has always come easy for Riley has been her ability to stay organized, which has helped her become a vocabulary wizard in Mrs. Unterbrunner’s room. When Riley finishes high school, she plans to go into marketing. In 10 years, Riley sees herself graduating from college, with a great job, her own home, and of course, a dog.
