Nicholas Ryan Kappenman, born and raised in Madison, South Dakota, is one of four family members: his Dad, Ryan; his Mom, Angi; and his sister Allie. His favorite color is light blue and loves to eat pasta, specifically chicken alfredo. A fun fact about Nick is that he dyes his eyebrows so that they are visible to others. When asked about his post-secondary plans, he wants to attend the University of Texas to study sports management and minor in sports analysis. Nick currently coaches at the Sanford Pentagon and when asked what the most rewarding part of the job is he says, “Seeing people succeed and go on to play college volleyball.” Nick doesn’t want his coaching career to end just yet, so he dreams of becoming a D1 volleyball coach.
If Nick had 5 million dollars to spend, he would buy land, a really nice house, and give some money to his parents. One thing Nick is afraid of is people because he says that “they are scary and you don’t know what they will do next.” If Nick was an influencer, his content would consist of daily life vlogging. When asked about one item that describes this last year he said, “A hilly mountain because there were a lot of ups and downs.” Nick would really enjoy living in Bora Bora someday because it's pretty and would enjoy going to the ocean every day. Nick recommends being a nice person because there are not a lot of nice people in the world.
