Kiara Ann Paradeis is the daughter of Tom and Kim Paradeis. Kiara has 3 siblings: Tiana, Kesha, and her half-sister, Aryanna. Kiara has lived in Madison, South Dakota her whole life. After graduating high school, she plans on attending South East Tech to become an Ultrasound Technician. If Kiara could live anywhere she would live in Hawaii, but she stated, “I  wouldn't go without my family because I don't like to be far away from them.” Kiara's family used to always make trips to the black hills and go four-wheeling.

Kiara works at Valiant Living as a direct support professional. When asked what the most rewarding part of her job was, she said, “Being a supporter to the supported living people and establishing a comfortable and active place for them to live.” When Kiara was talking about her job she also stated that, “Our supported people have touched my life in so many different ways; they are so unique and they are my family.” Luckily, Kiara has a job because the thing she cannot live without is money. According to her, she spends money like, “no other.” When asking Kiara what she recommends to others she stated, “Working in health care, building relationships, and knowing your someone's comfort place is definitely worth all the sacrifices.”  In 10 years, Kiara sees herself living in Sioux Falls and working as an ultrasound technician.

In Kiara's free time she enjoys going to Sioux Falls to get her nails done and go shopping. If Kiara had 5 million dollars to spend, her answer was very unique. She would buy a ‘Castle House’ in Colorado. Kiara has many dreams, one dream of hers is to become a dirt bike racer. Kiara stated, “My dad always wanted me to ride a dirt bike, but after knocking my two front teeth out from climbing up a water slide when I was 7 my mom wouldn't let me race.” Another fact about Kiara is she loves raccoons, in fact, she used to have a pet raccoon named Elsie. If Kiara could choose her superpower she would want to be able to read people's minds. Kiara's advice to underclassmen is to, “Take one day at a time, and  never give up.”
