The 2021 season tennis season is coming to a close with 17 tennis players - the Bulldogs face off against two more schools this week. One team they are up against is Lennox on Tuesday and Sioux Falls Christian on Thursday. State Tennis takes place on October 4th and 5th in Sioux Falls. The Bulldogs will take the top seven players; 7th as an alternate to state this year. The two seniors on the team this year are foreign exchange student, Anna Otzmen and team manager, Susie Voss. The junior players are Evelyn Graham, Bailey Gonyo, and Savannah Shipley. Sophomore players are Christain Rowe, Izzy Lawson, Callie Bounds, and freshmen Kassie Kauffman and Macy Patch. The 8th graders representing this year are Miranda Gonyo and Delilah Maxwell. Lastly, the 7th grade Sienna Maxwell rounds out the team.
The Bulldogs are excited to have this many girls out for tennis this season and we encourage everyone to come out and watch for the remainder of the season!
