As a girl who loves her family and traveling, Kennedy Kern, plans on going to college somewhere in South Dakota for nursing. Ten years from now, she hopes to have graduated from college, work as a nurse, be married, and possibly have children. Kennedy Jacklyn Kern came to this world on July 23rd, 2003, and was named after her two grandfathers. She works as a babysitter, babysitting her 3 younger sisters, and nieces, who she dearly loves. Kennedy has a total of five sisters, and the two youngest are adopted. Although Kennedy spends most of her time babysitting, she's worried about being home alone. Those aren’t her only fears. She also worries about coming across spiders, snakes, or being in the dark.

On a lighter note, she would love to be a contestant on Family Feud, only because her family has always been obsessed with this fun, popular reality tv show. Besides watching Family Feud, she has watched all seasons of the dramatic, breathtaking Grey’s Anatomy, while eating her favorite food, potatoes. “Why potatoes?” you might ask. I asked the same question myself. She replied, “Because they come in so many different forms.” Some of her examples were mashed, baked, and fried. Talking about it just makes you hungry!

One item Kennedy can’t live without would be her phone. What good would her phone be if she couldn’t post on social media about her skydiving or visiting all 50 states before she was 50? So far she has been to about 20 states. If she could have any superpower in the world, she would choose teleportation over everything else. She loves to travel and it would be much easier if she could teleport. One of her favorite places she has been to is Hawaii. If she could live anywhere for a year, it would be there.

When it comes to school, the only classes she looks forward to are her math and science classes. To her, they are much easier compared to any other class. When asked if she was in any extracurricular activities, she stated that she was in dance for 13 years. Kennedy was part of a dance team at Midwest Dance Center. They entered a competition last year and won the Encore Award. Currently, she is not involved in any other activities.

Kennedy Jacklyn Kern is excited to leave high school and start her adventures as an adult. She has two specific high school memories she cherishes. When she stood in the stands with her friends at football games, and while she was at state as a basketball cheerleader for the girls and boys basketball team. While she was there, Kennedy and the cheer squad won two Spirit of Six awards. Although her high school career has been filled with fun and exciting adventures, she’s ready to kick it in gear and start her life.
