Led by Mr. Bundy, the Madison High School Boy’s Tennis team is looking forward to a great season. With their season canceled last year due to COVID-19, the boys are excited to play and excited to get back on the court. There’s a lot of intensity at the start of the season and everyone is competing for their spot.
This year is the first time that there will be two classes for the state tournament. Since the season was cut short last year, seniors this year are looking to have a successful season. Returning seniors for the Boy’s Tennis team are Seth Fernau, Caleb Scott, Tyler Wardner, and Dylan Litz. New seniors that are giving tennis a shot this year are Ethan Brown and Jackson Boldt. The boy’s state tournament will take place in Sioux Falls on May 17th and 18th. The first boy’s tennis match will take place on April 13th in Pipestone.
