Who’s that in the front of the patrol car that you just got pulled over by? That would probably be Thomas Patrick Mallett sitting there. Thomas is a 17-year-old male from Madison, South Dakota, who has an affinity for all things first responders. His family members are his dad, Pat, mom, Teresa; and a sister, Brookelynn.
His favorite color is blue, which also represents law enforcement. He enjoys going on ride-alongs with officers of the Madison Police Department; he recommends people try it out once, just to see what it’s like.
When not on a ride-along, you can catch Thomas working at Pizza Ranch or Prostrollo's. Thomas said he does not plan on working at Pizza Ranch for the rest of his life, but instead, he hopes to one day have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Sioux Falls. In 10 years, he hopes to have a wife, a couple of kids, a brand new Dodge pick-up truck, and putting in his application for the Department of Criminal Investigation.
If Thomas could be on any T.V. show, it would be Survivor, simply because he thinks he has the endurance, strength, and will power to win it all. If Thomas could be a character from any show, he would be Dwight Schrute, from The Office because he somehow finds a way to make everything work.
Like all humans, Thomas has fears. Not just any fear, but a fear of falling, which is weird for someone whose favorite food is lasagna (?) He enjoys hunting deer for meat that goes into his lasagna.
One item he can not live without would be his phone, which helped him through 'coronacation', when everybody was stuck at home. When asked about his opinion about the Coronavirus, he said, “I hate everything about it; it ruined the end of my junior year and now it's ruining my senior year.”
