2020’s One-Act play has begun and it is already shaping up to one for the centuries. Taking place in 1900's London, the evil(ish) count Dracula wreaks havoc on a sanatorium full of crazy characters. Whether it be a mad lawyer who eats bugs or a pair of sisters who poison people, Dracula shows no mercy. This play is a comedic spin on a Gothic tale that’s older than Count Dracula himself. This year's cast list is full of returning and new members.
Practicing and performing look a little different thanks to COVID-19. The cast and crew are practicing every day for a shorter period of time. However, the actors and tech crew are rising to the challenge. There are currently 3 planned performances where masks will be required for the audience. Luckily, state One-Act will still take place, but it will be a bit different. There will be three state locations organized by class. We couldn’t be more excited to get this show on the road. All in all, this year's One-Act is surely shaping up to be one for the books!
