If you have ever been to a Friday night football game, you will have definitely seen Ally Sahr cheering on the Madison Bulldogs. She has a very bubbly personality, and loves to sing and dance, making her a perfect cheerleader. She told me whenever she is home, she would sing and dance to whatever she is doing. She also recommends “Whenever you are sad, just have a dance party!” Ally’s is genuinely kind - if she was given five million dollars to spend in five days, she would give part of it to the Special Olympics and to the cancer research at Sanford Kids.
Allison Catherine Sahr is an eighteen-year-old girl and was born on November 15th, 2002. Her family consists of her mom and dad, Christine and Bob Sahr, and her little sister, Calista. She also has three golden retrievers and two cats. If she had one item she can’t live without, it would be her dogs. Their names are Samson, Finn, and Lulu. Samson and Lulu had puppies a few years ago, and Finn was one of those puppies. Ally loves them because they are always so excited to see her every time she gets home. They are a part of her family like everyone else. Some interesting facts about her family is that everyone on her dad’s side has similar names, like they all start with the same letter, but her and her sister’s names are different. On her mom's side of the family, they are all from New England. One of Ally’s greatest memories is the day her sister was born. Ally and her sister have a great relationship - she says that she is her best friend, they love spending time together, and all they do is have a lot of laughs.
Water has a special place in Ally’s heart. She has been working as a lifeguard for two years, which makes the super power she would most want, breathing underwater, make perfect sense. To add to this, her favorite color is blue as she feels that it’s a relaxing color. She loves the ocean and being outdoors. Ally enjoys being outside and going hiking, running, walking, surfing, and anything else. There is one big thing on her bucket list, and that is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
A few of Ally’s favorite things include lasagna, Thai foods, Indiana, and cheesecake, but her absolute favorite foods are Thai Tom Kha Gai soup and flourless chocolate cake with homemade whip cream. She also enjoys crime shows like Criminal Minds, NCIS, other shows like New Girl and The Office. She says that she fits Jessica Day from New Girl, because she has a bubbly personality like her.
After she graduates high school, she plans to go to USD for nursing school. Then, she would work in an ER and ICU. Later on, she will attend graduate school to become a nurse anesthetist. Ally sees herself in 10 years working in the medical field as a nurse anesthetist. Ally’s natural positive attitude and sweet-heart will make her a good nurse, and she plans on living someplace where she can do a lot of outdoor activities.
