Madison High School

The newly sanctioned softball season has had a rough start due to snowy and cold weather. However, it has not stopped them from continuing to practice indoors during the first couple of weeks of the season. There were games scheduled for March 30th and April 6th, that were both rescheduled due to the inclement weather. The girl's varsity and JV teams had their first game on Thursday, April 14 at their home field. This game was against Dell Rapids, the varsity team lost 2-1, after overtime of two innings. The girls have two back-to-back to games this coming week, Monday, April 17th, and Tuesday, April 18th. Monday’s game is in Dakota Valley, against Dakota Valley. Tuesday’s game is against Castlewood, and was originally scheduled to be played in Castlewod, but has now been moved to our lady bulldogs’ home field.
