School Closed Image

Good afternoon,

This is a message from Madison Central School Superintendent Joel Jorgenson. This afternoon, Governor Noem announced schools will be closed an additional week at this point in time. Madison Central School District will be closed next week March 23rd through March 27th. Again, No School March 23rd through March 27th.

In addition, building principals will be emailing parents today with plans for continuing education via online and or through education material packets. Other items include the checking out of Chromebooks as needed for students in grades 5th through 8th. Specific dates and times for checking out Chromebooks will be spelled out by building principals in the information they will be sending out to parents today. This information will also be posted on our district website.

Free sack lunches will continue through next week at our current distribution sites. Again, the lunches are available for all kids ages 1 through 12th grade from any school district. As stated in the past, all school district facilities remain closed to outside use.

Again, please continue to check your email for additional information from building principals. Thank you for your help as we work together through this school closure period.

Sincerely,

Joel Jorgenson

Supt., Madison Central School District
