Ella Rae Hanson has lived in Madison, South Dakota, her whole life. She has a loving family of four and has lovely dogs that Ella loves to play with in her free time. Her favorite color is blue, and when she goes out to eat, her top choice will always be Los Tapatios. Ella's favorite show to watch is Shameless. When she wants to listen to music, she prefers country music. Ella loves to sleep; it's her favorite hobby after school.
In her free time, Ella mostly likes to nap and play with her dogs. In Shameless, her favorite character is Carl. She relates to him because he is straightforward and brutally honest. Some advice she would give to underclassmen is, “Do your homework before it's due.” If she could live anywhere in the world, it would be Florida. If someone gave her 5 million dollars to spend, she would spend it on an Olympic-size pool and a beach house in the Caribbean.
Ella's bucket list consists of traveling the world, specifically Norway and Finland. After high school, she wants to attend Lake Area Technical College in Watertown, South Dakota, to get a degree in child care. In 10 years, she sees herself married and having a wealthy lifestyle. In the end, Ella will always live by the motto from Plato: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
