Bubbly, outgoing, and always ready to try something new, Abigail Marie Ingham has made the most of her time at Madison High School. Better known as Abi, she is the daughter of Catherine Ingham and Brad Anderson and has lived in Madison her entire life. Throughout her time at Madison High School, she is involved in tennis, track, FBLA, and Key Club, while pursuing her interests outside of the classroom.

One of Abi’s biggest passions is figure skating. With thirteen years of experience on the ice, she achieved Novice Freeskate, which is the level of figure skating below what is typically shown on TV. Her love for the sport has also led her to become a figure skating coach for all age groups. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing her students grow and feel proud of their accomplishments. Outside of school and skating, Abi enjoys drawing, working out, and going to restaurants with friends. Her favorite place to eat is Cheesecake Factory, especially for its cheesecake.

In school, Abi’s favorite subject is math, particularly trigonometry, which she describes as “one big puzzle to solve.” This summer, she graduated from basic training, where she discovered a talent for shooting an M4. Abi hopes to visit every continent, including Antarctica. If she could have any superpower, she would choose teleportation so she could travel anywhere in the world.

After graduating from Madison High School, Abi plans to attend college in Boston to pursue a career in physical therapy, majoring in exercise science and minoring in math. With her schooling already paid for by the military, she is looking forward to living in a big city and beginning this next chapter of her life. In ten years, Abi sees herself working as a physical therapist, coaching figure skating, and preparing to start a family. When asked what advice she has for underclassmen, she encourages “surrounding yourself with good people” and “having a balanced school and social life.”
