Ella Jane Malone, also known as “E-money” on gameday, was born in Madison, SD. Her parents, April and Mike, have been a huge influence on her throughout her life. Her dad, specifically, has pushed her to be an overall good person. Ella has attended Madison Central School District her whole life and has played various sports throughout her schooling. However, the one that comes most easily to Ella is softball. Ella is an older sister to her twin sisters, Alivia and Caitlyn, and is extremely proud of how she has been a good role model for them.

Throughout the summer of 2026, Ella worked her new job as a lifeguard, where she ensured that little kids were safe while they played and had fun. Outside of school and work, she enjoys watching movies with her family, spending time with friends, and hanging out on the lake. Currently, Ella's bucket list consists of going to Europe, exploring different countries around the world, having a family, and building her dream house. When asked about her biggest fear, Ella stated that when it comes to traditional fears, birds and snakes were what she is most afraid of. But, when it comes to less traditional fears, she is most afraid of failure, which has led to her not always putting herself out there.

Throughout her life Ella has been seen with one constant object, her baby blanket. Whether it's on the bus to a game or on a family vacation, she always has it. When she was asked about an object she couldn’t live without it was the first thing that came to mind. If Ella could live anywhere in the world, her choice would be Colorado, due to it having four seasons, things to do, and being covered in nature. When asked about something she recommends everyone do, Ella stated, “I recommend making popcorn on the stove instead of in the microwave,” she said this is due to “just how much better it tastes”. Finally, if Ella could play any character in a movie, she would want to be a superhero, but when she was asked about what superpower she would have, she said all of them because she couldn’t decide-- she just wants to be able to save people.

After graduating from Madison High School, Ella will be attending SDSU for nursing and is hoping to go back for her master's degree to either become a nurse practitioner or a nurse anesthetist. While attending SDSU she is not currently planning on playing any sports, however, if the opportunity arises, she will take it. When asked about how she thinks she will be remembered at MHS she stated that, “I hope to be remembered as a role model for athletes and my balance between school and sports.”
