The Lady Bulldog 2026 gymnastics season has officially come to an end. This season, our team learned not to take a single moment for granted. As assistant coach Carrie Wieman would say, “Don’t worry about tomorrow, focus on making the best out of today-- out of the right now.” Hearing her say those words reminded us to appreciate each teammate, each routine, and each opportunity that came our way. This year has had its many ups and downs, and our ability to remain controlled and confident was vital. The season, which starts in early November and ends mid-February, can be long and challenging.  Our team faced adversity as we watched important and meaningful people battle their way through sickness.

Three special bible verses we remembered throughout the season were: 2nd Corinthians 12:9, Joshua 1:9, and Proverbs 3:5-6. These verses grounded the team. Throughout the year, the team became a close-knit family; we leaned on one another more than ever, recognizing that we needed that bond as we were all fighting our own battles.

This year's team was comprised of veterans and rookies, while being led by two seniors who have been dedicated to the sport of gymnastics since a young age. Their ability to mentor and encourage younger athletes will be missed next year. We are so grateful for this season and all it has taught us; it has been one to remember. We are also grateful to our family, friends, and dedicated coaches who supported us every step of the way this season. We love you all.
