Tyler Joseph Olson, known to some as “TO”, is a senior at Madison High School. He has lived in Madison his whole life and is the youngest of three in his family, with one older brother and one older sister. Tyler has a great passion for golf, as he spends a significant amount of his time at the course. When he isn’t golfing, you might find Tyler working at Mustang Seeds, where he has been employed for two years and spends the majority of his time packaging seed and operating forklifts. A few other things Tyler spends his time on are playing video games and watching the NFL. His favorite team is the Washington Commanders, where his icon, Jayden Daniels, plays quarterback. A few more of Tyler’s favorites include the color baby blue, Five Guys (especially their burgers), and Drake.

A few of the items on Tyler’s bucket list include golfing for a hole-in-one and traveling. If Tyler could grow up in any time period, he would choose the 70s because “there was less technology, the cars were cool, and you could get away with more.” Speaking of cars, if he had $5 million, Tyler would spend it on a black Corvette, as well as a really good set of golf clubs and a nice house with a lot of land. His dream location for his house would be in Florida because it is warm all year round.

Looking back on his high school years, Tyler’s favorite moments are making memories while playing basketball, football, golf, and baseball. His advice for underclassmen is “join a lot of activities and participate.” Looking ahead, Tyler intends to attend Mitchell Tech to do two years of electrical construction and maintenance, followed by one year of substation technologies. After this, he plans to work at East River. In 10 years, Tyler sees himself living in either South Dakota, Texas, or Florida with a nice house on a lake or golf course, as well as having a nice car, and three kids.
