Cale Daniel Johnson has been a bulldog his whole life. Cale is a member of a family of five, including one older brother, Parker, and his twin brother, Cooper. If Cale won $5 million, he would spend it on a house in a warm area with a beach, a type of place he has always wanted to visit, and buy a Rolls-Royce. Math is his favorite subject because he has always found it easy and enjoys tackling the challenge head-on. Another fun fact about Cale is that he has had a total of five surgeries over his lifetime, but this has not stopped him from being active.
Cale has participated in sports since the age of 4, and has been interested in sports far before that. He has even said that if he were to have a large media platform, he would focus it on NFL game updates and information, with a primary emphasis on his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. He has participated in football, baseball, track and field, basketball, and remains active in the gym lifting weights. Sports have been some of Cale’s favorite memories; his favorite is the time his team won state baseball in 2024. Baseball is his favorite sport because he plays it well and has participated in baseball for a long time, starting with tee ball. He has a batting average above 400 and has hit a home run on a full-sized field, which is no easy accomplishment. Living by the quote “Never back down, never give up”, Cale has not let a series of injuries prevent him from being active and supporting his teammates. He can be found in the weight room getting stronger, in the dugout, or on the football field, cheering on his teammates and offering advice to help achieve a win.
Supporting his fellow teammates and athletes has inspired Cale to become a medical doctor and specialize in helping athletes recover from injuries and get back into the game. He currently works as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home and has found a place in helping people. He aspires to attend SDSU and major in biology, then seek higher education to get into the healthcare field. His advice to bulldog underclassmen is, “Do your homework, join sports, and don’t get in trouble.”
