Samantha Nicole Troxell, also known as “Sammy”, reads her Bible every night. Her family consists of six people: two brothers, one sister, and her parents. Sammy has two dogs, both German Shorthaired Pointers. She plans to attend Northern State or Black Hills State University to become an elementary school teacher. In ten years, she sees herself teaching fourth or fifth grade in South Dakota, with a house, two kids, and a dog. Some advice she has for underclassmen is, “Talk to and get to know a lot of people.”
Sammy’s favorite color is pink, and she hopes to have a pink Jeep someday. In her free time, she enjoys napping, painting, and running. She is on the cross-country team and recommends that everyone join. While working at Dairy Queen, she enjoys getting to know the regulars. If Sammy could be any character in a movie, she would be Buddy the Elf because he is a fun character.
Some things on Sammy’s bucket list are going to a Los Angeles Rams game and visiting the Rockefeller Tree in New York. A couple of fears she has are heights and snakes. She enjoys all types of music except rap; her favorite artist is Josiah Queen. If Sammy could live anywhere in the world, she would live in the mountains, in a cabin. One quote she lives by is “What would Jesus do?”
