Bailey Jo Meadows is the youngest in a family of 5. She hasn’t lived in Madison her whole life; she was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Her family moved to Madison when she was two due to her dad getting a new job here.
Bailey is one to be a very kind, patient, and compassionate person. To prove that, she works at a nursing home to “help disabled people feel better about their day, and also to make them happier in general.” She enjoys spending her free time reading and crocheting. Some things that come easily to her are listening to others, being empathetic or understanding their perspectives, and connecting with people.
If Bailey could have any superpower, she would have time travel because there are so many amazing events in history. If she could play any character in a TV show, she would play Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony. The reason that she would choose that is because “she is nice and, like me, has pink hair.” If Bailey could live anywhere in the world, she would live anywhere that has a beach because she loves the water.
Bailey is very interested in psychology and plans to pursue a career in psychology. When she is older and graduates from college, she plans to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. 10 years from now, she sees herself working and happily married. Her bucket list consists of bungee jumping, sky diving, snorkeling, ziplining, mountain climbing, and seeing a sea horse and jellyfish.
Bailey’s biggest fear is the dark, and she is VERY afraid of it. She also really likes seahorses, so if she were to live by the ocean, she’d be able to see a lot of them. Advice she has for underclassmen is “No one actually cares about what you do.” Her favorite quote/motto to live by is to “smile.” 🙂
