Brody Allen Cummins is the youngest in a family of six. He has an older sister and two older brothers, who gave him the nickname “Beef” when he was a child. Brody moved to Madison in the summer before his freshman year of high school after living in Milbank, SD, for 14 years. Throughout his life, Brody’s played baseball, basketball, and football. His favorite color is orange, and in his free time, Brody likes to watch sports and hang out with his friends, where they usually golf or play poker. Brody works at Subway throughout the school year, even though his favorite restaurant is Culver’s. When not watching sports, you could typically catch him watching his favorite TV show, How I Met Your Mother. Brody’s biggest fear is spiders hiding in his bed, but that does not stop him from going to sleep every night.
If Brody only had one day to live, he would get into a high-speed chase because if he got caught, he would only be in jail for the rest of the day. Brody, if he could travel in time, would travel ten years from now to see how his life is going or if anything had changed. When asked to complete the sentence “I recommend…”, Brody responded confidently, “pizza sliders. They sound kind of weird, but they are so good”. A fun fact about Brody is that he wears his black Crocs to school every chance he gets.
After high school, Brody plans to attend SDSU, but is unsure of his major right now. Brody sees himself in ten years, living in South Dakota and coaching high school basketball. His favorite memory throughout high school was sitting on the varsity basketball bench during his sophomore year. He loved this because all of the team members would get into the other teams’ heads while they were playing. Brody’s final words to the underclassmen would be to get involved in any activities, no matter what they are.
