Troy Joseph Klein is a senior at Madison High School and was born in Madison, South Dakota. He has lived on his family farm south of Madison his entire life, and his family includes his dad, Lee; his mom, Christina; and his sisters, Kiley and Kate. One thing Troy couldn't live without is his family because “They have taught me everything that I know”. Some of the nicknames he has are “T-Roy” and “Troy Boy.”
After high school, Troy plans to return to his family's farm and assist his father with their cattle operation. In ten years, he plans to start his own cattle herd, keep helping his dad, and be happily married. He wants to work on his mechanical skills as he becomes more involved in the operation. One of his favorite jobs on the farm is hauling cattle to pastures or hauling corn or soybeans to the elevator. Some of the things you can find Troy doing outside of school are working with cattle or driving tractors.
His favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is prime rib. His favorite movie is 8 Seconds. If he could play any character in a movie, it would be Tom Cruise in Top Gun because, “It would be cool to fly a jet." Some advice he would give to underclassmen is, “Don’t stress out over tests.” A motto that he lives by is to go with the flow. Troy’s favorite school memories include attending FFA competitions and meeting new people.
