Avery Kate Schamber, also known as "Ruby", is the youngest of 3, with both an older brother and sister. She has always lived in Madison and played soccer, volleyball, softball, and basketball throughout her childhood. Avery now participates in many activities, including: volleyball, softball, football cheer, student council, FCA, the Maroon news, and wrestling statistician. Avery works at The Office, where her favorite part of her job is when a customer tells her she is doing a good job. During free time, Avery likes to watch movies and go shopping with friends.
If Avery could live anywhere in the world, she would live in Australia so she would not have to learn a new language. She recommends ketchup on tacos. When Avery was growing up, she wanted to be a pop star who sang about relationships. If she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation because she hates driving. Avery’s playlist mainly consists of the 2010s' best hits. If Avery could play any character in a movie, it would be Viola from She’s the Man because she starred with Channing Tatum. If it were the last day on Earth, Avery would people-watch at a big tourist destination. If she had a social media platform, her content would consist of rants and her morning routine.
Avery plans to attend the University of South Dakota to major in Elementary Education. Her favorite restaurant is China Moon. If she had $5 million to spend, she would spend it on a big shopping spree. Avery is afraid of needles, but she says it doesn’t stop her. Scuba diving is the only thing on her bucket list. Avery’s most memorable moment of high school so far is Powderpuff junior year. Her advice for underclassmen is to get involved and go to activities.
