Christzel Faith Feniza, also known as Zel, is a senior at Madison High School. Her family moved from the Philippines to Madison, SD 3 years ago. Christzel is one of five in her family; she has a sister, a brother, and her two parents. You may see her working at Sunshine as a cashier. She is a volleyball manager, wrestling cheer captain, Madvoices singer, and the FCCLA secretary. Zel’s motto she goes by is to “Be careful which way you lean.”
Some fun things to know about Christzel are that her favorite color is purple, she never passes up a chance to eat at Olive Garden, Stranger Things is her go‑to Netflix series, and she enjoys baking and spending time with her family and friends whenever she’s free. If she could live anywhere, it would be Greece; she’s eager to see the beaches and scenic views. On her bucket list she would like to visit at least 5 countries before she is 25 years old.
Her favorite subject in school is culinary, because of the hands-on activities while making food. Heights, spiders, and snakes are things she’s afraid of. Zel likes to listen to Pop and R&B songs. If she could play a type of character from a movie she would be Mort from Madagascar. She plans on attending Lake Area Tech for Cosmetology. The advice that Christzel has for the underclassmen is to “Document your life.”
