Brookelynn Mallett, daughter of Teresa and Pat, also known as “Brookie” to her friends, is a senior at Madison High School. She has lived in Madison, South Dakota, her whole life with her family of four. Brookelynn works at One-Stop, and if you were to ask her what the most rewarding part of her job is, she’d say the money she earns from working.
Things that come easily to Brookelynn include math and biology. Her favorite subject in school is art, because it’s fun for her, but her least favorite subject is history. She believes a character that best describes her is Winnie the Pooh, and if she could play any character, she’d be Curious George because he doesn’t have to worry about anything. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite movie is Tangled. Even though her favorite food is pizza, if she were to recommend a restaurant, she’d recommend Taco Bell.
After Brookelynn graduates high school, she plans on attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion to study biology. In ten years, she sees herself starting a family. If she could live anywhere, she’d choose Italy because of the pizza and pasta. Some of the things that are included on her bucket list include skydiving and traveling around the world. Some advice she’d give to underclassmen would be to go to school.
