Grace Elizabeth Feige was born in Sioux Falls, SD, but raised right outside of Madison, SD. She transferred from Rutland and has stayed at MHS ever since. She shares a home with her mother, father, and three younger siblings. Sports come easily to her, considering she grew up playing volleyball, softball, and basketball.

One of her fondest memories is when the basketball team won its first game last year; Mrs. Unterbrunner sprayed water bottles everywhere. She currently works at Peaceful Pines, where the most rewarding part of her job is being told by residents that she’s the most understanding worker there. Her favorite TV show is The Last Dance, but if she were to be a cartoon character, she would want to be Pete the Cat because “He's so chill.” If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to read minds. With five million dollars to spend, she would give it to her parents because she doesn’t need that kind of money.

Grace plans to attend a tech school to pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse. One of her biggest fears is not being able to support the family she hopes to have someday, which motivates her to work hard and stay focused. In ten years, she envisions herself married, settled at home, and checking off her bucket list—landing a stable job, raising kids, and living on a ranch surrounded by close family. Her advice to underclassmen is simple but powerful: keep your GPA up. For inspiration, she recommends watching The Last Dance, and one phrase she lives by is, “This too shall pass.”
