Blake Wilfrid Feldhaus has lived near Ramona his entire life, but he decided to attend school in Madison. He lives with his dad Jamie, mother Rita, younger sister Susie, and his youngest sister Jenna. They own many cattle and sheep, as well as plant corn and soybeans. While at home, Blake enjoys watching fantasy movies and playing his many mastered instruments, including the baritone, trombone, tuba, and bass drum. When he’s not home, he enjoys playing in the school band, doing schoolwork, and reading.
After high school, Blake plans on attending Mitchell Tech to study Diesel Power. He hopes to graduate with an Associate's degree and become a Diesel Mechanic to work on tractors in Rapid City, South Dakota. In ten years, he sees himself with land, a house, a wife, and more than one child.
Before he graduates, Blake would like to leave behind one piece of advice for underclassmen: “Stay on top of your homework; it gets stressful.” Blake lives by one quote: “Practice makes permanent, not perfect,” from Blake’s band director, Brett Kroeger.
