As we remember 2025 with all of the fun memories and laughter, maybe even important parts of our lives, 2026 is already making way for other necessities. Every year, new laws or rules are made or will be set to take place. As we move into the new year, we see new laws being developed every day. Some of these new laws may be good, while others could have an impact on those who were looking forward to the new year. Good or bad, laws are important and must be followed.
Many people are skeptical of the idea of AI. With a new law in 2026, creators who use AI must label their creations “AI-Generated Content.” This new law saves people from having to take time to decide if the video or image is real or fake. Although some of these laws are already implemented, there are some that are upcoming. For example, in July of 2026, there will be a new law that limits the use of phones by students in public schools. Many students may be frustrated with the new phone policies, but schools are trying to do what is in the best interest of students.
