Meet Olivia Renee Sims, a senior at Madison High School whose lively personality shines through in her responses. Olivia has been a resident of Madison since she was three years old, having moved here from Kentucky. She has a loving family of 5, which includes her mom, Julie, her dad, Anthony, and her two sisters, Hannah and Rebeka. When she is not spending her time with family, she likes to find herself in the world of video games or enjoying art, which are things that come easily to her. She is a big fan of Vampire Diaries and is currently reading the Percy Jackson books, which she highly recommends to others because they are “Very good.”
Olivia's special interests and plans paint the picture of an engaging senior. Her favorite school subject is Culinary, mostly because she loves to cook. One thing she couldn't live without (besides her phone) would have to be colored pencils, which speaks to her artistic side. Her ideal place to live would have to be Paris because of “Its beauty.” Her music taste leans into Pop music, and she says her favorite song is by Taylor Swift. Looking ahead into her future, her immediate plan after graduation is to go to college in Kentucky for culinary arts.
Olivia has a vision for her future and a few silly wishes. If she could have any superpowers, she’d go with super speed to get around places faster. If she were given $5 million, she would split it, giving one-half to charity and using the other half on a nice house. Her most memorable moment so far was going to State for theater in Brooking’s SD. When it comes to advice for underclassmen, she encourages them to work hard and study a lot. In ten years, she sees herself having a good job, being married with one child, and of course, playing open-world video games.
