Aedan was born on February 16th, 2008, in Sioux Falls. She lived in a small town, Centerville, until around the age of two, and ever since has lived on a farm near Wentworth. Her parents are Amanda and Brant Klawonn. She has a younger sister, Ainslie, and a younger brother, Clayton. She is currently working as a vet assistant at True North Veterinary Health in Wentworth. Driven by her love for animals, she has spent the past eight years involved in 4-H, where she has shown horses, cows, rabbits, cats, and dogs. In addition to 4-H, she has been involved in FFA, Student Council, NHS, Concert and Marching Band, All-State Band, SDSU Honor Band, MHS Trap, SD Junior Points Show Association, and is currently a SD Junior Beef Ambassador. During her free time, when she has it, she enjoys crafting, such as painting, drawing, making jewelry, and tooling leather.

Aedan considers coffee an essential part of her day, especially an iced caramel latte. Her favorite color is pink, reflecting her determination and confident personality. Barbecue baby back ribs is her go-to order at a restaurant-when it is available. With a strong interest in science, biology stands out as her favorite subject. If granted a superpower, she would choose the ability to be in two places at once, so she could make the most of every opportunity in front of her. Her favorite pet is her Border Collie, Sadie, because she loves how smart and loyal she is. Despite her love for animals, she has an unusual phobia of ladybugs. One of her most cherished memories is being crowned Miss Prairie Village 2025.

After graduating from Madison High School, Aedan plans to attend SDSU and major in Animal Science. She doesn’t have a definite career in mind, but is considering veterinary school. Additionally, working at the vet clinic provides her with valuable experiences for a potential career in Animal Science. Her advice to underclassmen isGet involved with as many clubs as possible,” and she recommends joining FFA. In 10 years, Aedan envisions herself living on a farm in South Dakota, married, raising four children, and owning a large herd of cattle.
