Alexander Zwak, known better as Alex, has attended Madison High School for the majority of his life. Alex first lived in Minnesota until his parents, Jerry and Lori Zwak, found careers that brought him to Madison. His family doesn’t stop at just three, though; he has a younger sister who is 15 years old and also attends Madison, Abbi. Although Alex lives in the plains of South Dakota, he dreams of living in Wyoming, up in the mountains, where he can not only feel in the sky but practically be in the sky. Alex loves to fly airplanes and states that it is something that came easily to him. Apart from flying, Alex loves to stay on the ground as well, whether it’s fishing or hunting, he’s all in. Similar to the love of the sky, his favorite color is blue.
After high school, Alex plans to attend SDSU to obtain an aviation degree and eventually become a pilot. He would also like to own a ranch in Wyoming, where he can enjoy his abundant outdoorsy lifestyle. Most people would think his life seems dangerous, but he strives for more, hoping to one day be able to shoot a moose. In 10 years, he aspires to achieve his dream of being an airplane pilot, living on a ranch, and starting his own family. Alex’s advice to underclassmen would be to enjoy high school while it lasts. His most memorable moment of his life was when he was in Wyoming and elk hunting, where he was able to get his own trophy.
Whether it’s helping him get around or being used for work, Alex believes that his pickup is an item he could not live without. Working for a construction company, he says that completing a big project is the most rewarding part of the job. If Alex were to portray a character from a movie, he believes Doc Holiday is the best suited for him. Having a unique and stylish way of being pictured. All in all, Alex is a down-to-earth person with ambitions soaring through the sky.
