Tyler Vernon Thompson is an honest, simple person who knows what he wants in life. Tyler has lived near Winfred all his life on the family farm. His family consists of five people: his dad (Marty), Mom (Jennie), older sister (Vanessa), and younger brother (Tevin).
Tyler has a very active role on the family farm; he helps with everything that needs to be done on the farm. Although he enjoys almost every aspect of the farm, his favorite thing to do is combining beans. He hopes to one day take over the farm. The two main things that Tyler wants to add to the farming operation are more acres and to run his own silage chopping crew.
Tyler has several favorites. For example, his favorite food is prime rib, and his favorite TV show is Yellowstone. Tyler says it is a good show and recommends it to others. Over the years, Tyler has picked up a few nicknames, which include “Bubbles,” which was given to him by his friend group who thought he looked very similar to a character in the show, Trailer Park Boys named “Bubbles”. If Tyler could have any superpower, it would be time travel so that he could go see the dinosaurs.
Tyler says that the most memorable part of his high school experience was attending FFA competitions and getting to talk to people he doesn't normally see. After graduation, he plans to attend SDSU to get his associate in agricultural science and return to the farm. Tyler says that anything could happen, but in ten years, he sees himself farming and potentially married.
