My name is JayLynn Mackert, and I am a co-editor for this year's (2025-2026) Maroon Newspaper. Apart from the newspaper, you will also see me in other organizations and extracurricular activities such as one-act, spring play, band, choir, FCCLA, HOSA, oral interp, and the National History Club. This is my second year being a part of the Maroon Newspaper and my first year as a co-editor. I joined this club to show my love for writing. The newspaper has given me a creative outlet to produce more articles and papers, which I am very grateful for. As for articles, I conduct numerous surveys. It is extremely exciting to get input from the entire school and to document my findings. I can't wait to see all the great things we will accomplish this year!
