Myles Dale Schneider was born in Sioux Falls but has lived in Madison all of his life. He has three siblings and is the son of mom, Megan, and dad, Jeremiah, who serves in the Navy. Myles currently works at the Bethel Nursing Home as a dietary aid. His favorite part of his job is “seeing the residents happy.” Myles’ pillar in his life that keeps him going is his family, because they have pushed him to where he is today. The motto that Myles lives by is “If you can’t do it 100% the first time, don’t do it at all.”
One item Myles could not live without would be his bed because it is his most peaceful place, and keeps him well-rested. His favorite subject in school is math because he loves the satisfaction of solving problems. In his free time, Myles enjoys watching movies, playing golf, and spending time with his friends. One of Myles’ only fears is heights. His music playlist is filled mostly with country. If Myles could have any superpower, he would choose to have time travel, so he could see the wonders of the past.
In Myles’ future, he plans to go to college to get a degree in nursing. After he obtains his degree, he plans to become a physician assistant or a CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist). Some activities on Myles’ bucket list includes visiting foreign countries, learning Jiu-Jitsu, and flying a plane. In ten years, Myles sees himself holding up a steady job, having a wife with two kids, and continuing to golf. Myles’ one piece of advice to give to underclassmen is to “get your work done and to get involved with activities and clubs.”
