Sophia Peterriens

Sophia Joan Peterriens, also known as Peter, loves gymnastics, scrapbooking, reading, listening to music, and running. Sophia's family consists of six people - three siblings, Ella, Ava, Beau, and her parents: dad, Jared; and mom, Gina. She also holds her grandparents very near and dear to her heart. Talking to people and being social comes easily to Sophia. She can be compared to Thumper from Bambi, blunt, sweet, and supportive. If she had five million dollars to spend, she would spend it on traveling to places to see cool things and make memories.

As of right now, Sophia has three jobs: waitressing at the Broadwater Bar, nannying, and coaching gymnastics. Though she loves all her jobs, the most rewarding part of her nannying job is watching the kids grow and learn, while developing new skills along the way. When she graduates, she intends to take a gap year and plans on traveling to Roatan to serve children and share the love of Christ through compassion and faith. After coming back, she plans on attending school for interior design. If she had the chance to live anywhere, she'd pick Paris for its beautiful scenery, her love of travel, and her fondness for the French language.

In 10 years, Sophia sees herself out of school, starting her career, and settling down. Her most memorable moment throughout high school was winning state gymnastics with all of her best friends. Sophia’s advice to underclassmen is to “get yourself a film camera, include everyone, and make as many memories as you can; these moments are what you will look back on forever.”
