Izabella Kay Lawson was born on August 22, 2006, in Spearfish, South Dakota. She lived there for a year before moving to Madison. She goes by “Izzy” because it's shorter and easier to pronounce. She is an only child. Her favorite color is green, and she enjoys dining on some chicken alfredo with broccoli. Izzy finds talking to people easy, which makes sense, as her favorite way to pass time is being with friends. Her favorite subject in school is sociology because she finds how society acts interesting.
If Izzy had a superpower, it would be mind reading. When asked why, she said, “It’s good to know what people are really thinking, but not all the time.” If Izzy had 5 million dollars, she would pay for college, give a majority to her parents, and save the rest. If Izzy had a social channel, she says she would probably post life updates or comedy videos.
Izzy plans to go to college at either USD or SDSU after high school. She wants to study psychology and, later, become a child psychologist or social worker. She hopes to be with a loving family ten years from now. She also wants to cross some traveling off of her bucket list. The first place she would go to is Italy because she thinks their culture is interesting and wants to see how other cultures live. Izzy’s advice to underclassmen is, “Do things for you, and not others.”
