Macey Lynn Kimmel is the daughter of Matt and Stacey Kimmel. Fun fact: Macey’s name comes from her parents' names combined. Macey has 4 siblings - two sisters and two brothers. She has lived in Madison her whole life. In her free time, Macey likes to paint or create different art projects, or cuddle up with her baby blanket and take a nap. Macey says “On my open, I snuggle up with it.”
If Macey could live anywhere, she would live in Italy because they have good spaghetti (which is her favorite food). Macey’s hidden talent is that she is very flexible and has double-jointed fingers, feet, and hips. This unusual trait helps her in her 13 years of dancing. Macey has taken ballet, jazz, lyrical, comp, cheer, hip-hop, and tap dancing over the years. When asked what her biggest fear was, Macey answered “getting in a car accident.” She said, “I have a debilitating fear of driving.”
In 10 years, Macey sees herself married with a career in interior design. She plans to go to a 2-year university in Minnesota for her degree. When asked what sparked this career choice, Macey said that she loves watching home renovation TV shows and wants to do something similar. Some advice for underclassmen from Macey would be to stop spending so much time thinking about others’ perceptions of you.
