Olivia Grace Meehan was born on October 31st, 2005, in Madison, South Dakota. She lives in the country with her family of four: her mom, Heather; her dad, Matthew; and her younger sister, Alaina. Olivia attended Madison Christian School from kindergarten through her 3rd-grade year. She then moved to Madison Elementary School at the beginning of her 4th-grade year. She spends most of her free time hanging out with her friends. She has a job working at Pizza Ranch and has been working there for close to four years. One thing on her bucket list is to travel out of the country.
One thing she can’t live without is her husky named Dakota, or “Koda” for short. An animal that best describes her is a dog because they are always full of energy and are friendly to everyone. If she could have any superpower, she would have teleportation because she’d be able to go anywhere at any time. A few of her favorite subjects in school are English and art “because it gives me a chance to be creative.”A piece of advice Olivia would give to underclassmen is that “you don’t need to live up to anyone’s expectations; just be yourself.”
Olivia is enlisted in the South Dakota Air National Guard and after high school, plans on going to Texas to attend Basic Military Training. Later, she’ll attend Advanced Individual Training for Public Health. In the fall of 2025, she plans on attending post-secondary school at Lake Area Technical College to major in Law Enforcement. In 10 years, Olivia hopes to be a canine deputy somewhere in South Dakota. She hopes to have a husband and two kids living on a farm.
