Kendra Jo Havlik is a senior at Madison High School. Her family consists of her mom, Jessica; her dad, Jason; her sister, Emmy; and her brother, Gage. She is the oldest of her two siblings and loves her dogs Chewy and Rocky. She has lived in Madison her whole life; however, when asked where she’d want to live for a year, she said, “Hawaii, because they have good food, nice people, and it's always pretty.”
Her love for food goes a long way; when asked one thing she couldn't live without, she said food because without it she would be crabby and wouldn’t be able to enjoy her favorites. A restaurant she recommends is Los Tapatios because they make their food quickly and it tastes good. They also make her favorite food there: tacos. She also loves the show Nailed It, and if given the choice of what to upload on a YouTube channel, it would be cooking and baking.
Her future plans are to attend SDSU and become a pediatric nurse. Her bucket list includes becoming a nurse, living in a nice house with a happy family, and having a garden that her grandma will help with. Ten years from now, she sees herself living in that nice house with a great, happy family, holding a good nursing job. Some advice she offers to underclassmen is “Work hard even when things get tough because the outcome is worth the struggles it takes to get there.”
