Senior Spotlight: Hailey Delzer

Hailey Elizabeth Delzer was born on October 23rd, 2001 into a family filled with variety and fun. Though she is the youngest, she has four older siblings, her eldest sister and brother, Kendra and Alex, and her youngest brother and sister, Patrick and Jordin . Her parents are Scott and Beth Delzer.

In her free time, she likes to work with little kids at church choir, she also likes to teach guitar lessons, which explains why she often sings at restaurants like The Pub, and Sundog. She also plays the guitar very well, and all-round is a very gifted musician. With her impressive talents after high school, she plans on attending DSU, to minor in videography, and to become a recording engineer.

As a child, her favorite thing to do was play on the swings at various parks and playgrounds. Hailey also participated in many sports as a kid, such as gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, track and field, and softball. She also participated in powderpuff football during homecoming.  Though she is not in any sports now, she participates in the choir as an alto and jazz band as a trumpet.

When asked if she could try anything and not fail, with money not being an object, she would attempt being an influencer.  An influencer is someone who gets paid to travel around the world and posts pictures on social media.

Hailey’s favorite television show is One Tree Hill. She often does not care to watch movies, because they either do not interest her or she does not have the attention span to watch them in their entirety. Her favorite source of social media is Facebook.

Her favorite memory of high school is being a statistician for the wrestling team and cheering them on at meets. Hailey’s senior year she was voted on by her class for homecoming royalty. One thing Hailey learned in high school is that nothing lasts forever. Hailey sees herself in 10 years with a huge house, 5 kids,  a golden doodle, and happily married to a hot husband.
