Senior Spotlight: Kelsey Gustaf

Having season tickets to the Minnesota Twins, and being a big fan of the Chicago Cubs, Kelsey Rae Gustaf and her family are fanatics for the game of baseball. During the summer months, Kelsey, along with her parents Scott and Lori, and her older sister, Sydney, can be seen spending much of their time at Target Field. Along with her family, Kelsey also has two beloved dogs; a black lab, named Herky, and a chihuahua/pug named Benny. Kelsey is very good at interacting with people and is a good golfer for the MHS golf team. She is eighteen years old and seven months and has a part-time job working for Firstline Funding as an Assistant Document Manager. She is a very busy, sweet, and proactive person.

Throughout her high school experience, she has learned not to take other people’s ideas for granted. Something that she recommends to people is going traveling. While Kelsey was young, she stole a blanket from her sister and has loved her blankets ever since. If she had 5 million dollars that she could spend on anything other than herself, she would give a good portion to her family, and the remaining to a charity. Kelsey is a good student and has big plans for her future. 

Following high school, Kelsey is planning to attend South Dakota State University and pursue a major in interior design. Along with a major in interior design, she plans to minor in marketing. Following college, she plans to get a good job in the architectural field. If Kelsey could live anywhere in the world for a year, she would live in London or Paris because they are awesome; however, her dream place to live in Chicago, Illinois. Kelsey has accomplished many things and is looking into a very bright future.
