The National Honor Society Serves the Gathering Meal

The Gathering Meal is a wonderful event for so many reasons. It is a weekly meal on Monday nights from 5-6pm and is free to anyone and everyone in the community. It is held at the Madison United Methodist Church (the one across the street from Dairy Queen). Overall, the Gathering is a great place for the community to foster connections from people of all ages and backgrounds.

Monday February 24th, the MHS National Honor Society had the pleasure of serving the Gathering Meal at the United Methodist Church in Madison. The night went swimmingly thanks to the 17 NHS members who all volunteered to help with the event. The meal consisted of chili on baked potatoes and dinner rolls, served along with macaroni salad and a cookie.

The National Honor Society is proud to have been involved in such a wonderful service project and look forward to serving the meal in the future!
