Senior Spotlight: Adam Swope

Apple crisp is a delicious dish. It is not an easy dessert to make, but the time spent making it is well worth it. When asked of a food that described his life, Adam Swope chose apple crisp. It can be challenging to work with, but at the end of the day it is pretty darn good.

Adam Swope has two middle names: Jay and Edward. His second, Edward, comes from his father of the same name. His mother is named Sandra, and Adam has two older brothers, Zachery and Patrick. It is out of town, on a small farm, that Adam lives with his family. On the farm, Adam will perform odd jobs here and there and enjoys time spent working on the farm with his father.

Adam also enjoys spending his time reading, playing video games, and hunting with his dad. His favorite movie is Avengers: Endgame and he particularly enjoys video games like War Thunder and Factorio. Adam is happy to be a part of the choir at MHS. In addition, he loves sculpting and is learning more about drawing.

Inspired by the military involvement of both of his parents and several cousins, Adam has plans to work in the military. After he graduates from high school, Adam is going into the Navy as a PACT Airman. There, he wants to work as a mechanic on aircraft carriers. He hopes to be stationed around the world in a variety of locations such as Europe or the Pacific.

Adam Swope has a very positive outlook on life. He loves his family, has many hobbies, and is excited to join the Navy after graduation. He sincerely cares about others and the state of the world in which we live. Adam works hard to make the world a better place to be.
